MALAYSIA AUTOSHOW 2024

Malaysia Autoshow 2024 by Malaysia Automotive, Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii) is an annual automotive event showcasing the latest vehicles on the market, for both Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) and Electric Vehicles (EV) alike. Earning recognition from the Malaysia Book of Records as the largest international autoshow in the country, this year’s highly anticipated edition expanded to a massive 50,000 square meters to bring an even bigger experience for visitors.

The 2024 event set new industry benchmarks, attracting a record-breaking 223,876 visitors—a 17% increase from the previous year. It featured over 200 brands and exhibitors showcasing more than 500 models, and played host to 47 thrilling new product launches. With a strong focus on the future of mobility, xEV models made up 50% of the vehicles displayed.

Beyond the exhibitions, the event was a massive commercial success, generating RM1.4 billion in potential sales, 2,620 vehicle bookings, and 13,799 sales leads. Attendees were also able to experience the performance of their dream cars firsthand through extended routes and a challenging 4×4 off-road track, recording a total of 6,263 test drives and rides throughout the week.
